FAQ:
Q1: | I can see two product codes for this case. What is the difference between the product codes ending in - A1B and M1B? |
The key difference is that the "A1B" version is the branded version with the Akasa logo on the front panel of the case. Whereas the "M1B" version is the unbranded version, i.e. without the Akasa logo. | |
Q2: | I have the NUC10i7FN(H)/(K) / NUC10i5FN(H)/(K) / NUC10i3FN(H)/(K) - can I install the mainboard inside the Turing FX case? Is there any changes I need to make? |
You should have no issues to install the mainboard inside the case. Following Intel® specification the Configurable Thermal Design Power (TDP)-up of 25W for the Core™ i3, i5 and i7 Frost Canyon. Intel® Turbo Boost Technology 2.0 is enabled by default and increases the VRM and TDP values, which may cause the CPU to throttle in order to cool down when installed inside the case. The thermal design of the Turing FX case follows the 25W TDP specification. To prevent this, please follow the instructions on the link to keep the 25W TDP power limit. |
